Malaysian kite festival

25 02 2015 - 01 03 2015 - Pasir Gudang international kite festival (Malaysia)

The Pasir Gudang international kite festival, one of the most important kite festivals in the world, is said to invite nearly 50 countries this year and most of them will also be participating.

Mehmet Naci Aköz, president of Istanbul Kitesflyers Association from Turkey and the Turkish kite team will be invited to the festival from 25 February 2015 to 01 March 2015.

It is no exaggeration to say that the festival will be held at Alor Star and Satun Square and will attract great attention to the festival, where huge flying kites will be flying and professional kites will be colored with lighted kite displays especially at night.

Mehmet Naci Aköz, who was unable to attend the festival due to the intensity of his programs despite being invited.

I am very sorry that I would like to attend this beautiful and magnificent kite festival in Malaysia during my previous visits to the kite museum in Johor and the kite workshops in Kelantan, but this year my programs will not be able to participate in the intensity. When I am able to find the time, my team will be happy to be in Malaysia again.

The flight of kites reflecting the traditional Malaysian kite culture we brought from Malaysia in the first kite of our country attracts a lot of attention and is followed with appreciation. In our next visit to Malaysia, we will carry new models to our country.

On this occasion, I would like to thank and thank my dear friend İsmail Mat Taib for his invitation to the director of the Johor kite museum and the secretary general of the World Kite Festival.
