It shall be responsible of performing these roles democratically, managing all games fairly, ensuring the safety of games and carrying out with the same high standards any time. The interaction of kiteflyers and national entities shall be allowed.

STACK membership

A STACK member is accepted to the membership by an approved national kite organization or is defined as an international STACK member.

Job Description of National Director:

For each nation, only one organization is recognized as the STACK representative of that country (please read the section “organizations of countries recognized”). In this regulations, the term “country” refers to any country or a group of countries if the structure is suitable. These organizations do not have to use the name STACK.

If the country has a council, the chairman of council is the person that leads official contact between that country and SIEC in accordance with the purpose of this regulations. The national director manages the relation between the STACK members in his/her country and SIEC. This person encourages STACK membership with sportive kiting activities in his/her country. If the organization of that country has a regulations or equal legislation, it should include purpose and aim statement of STACK and comply with this statement. Remaining portion of this

regulations should not conflict with remaining portion of STACK’s regulations by any means. If possible, they should work to ensure that competitions and/or leagues are organized in their country.

If there are enough kite competitors in their country, they should organize annual National Championship to determine Country Champion. Organizational details of championship are decided by National Director yet he should declare and notify the championship necessarily before competition.

Istanbul Kiteflyers’ Association continues to work in this respect and mentions STACK in the advertising activities in museum.

Vice Chairman of STACK, John Mitchell, attended Istanbul 3rd international kite festival held by Istanbul Kiteflyers’ Association in 2005 and, visited Istanbul and the association.
