These information  include overview of the  activities of Mehmet Naci AKÖZ  who was the first winner in 1983 kite festival arranged by Bulvar Newspaper at Çamlıca hill and since that date put in action kite contests in Turkey and signed % 90 of these activities here.

• Hüseyin Emin Öztürk who won the best child novel prize by the Ministry of Culture through the story book named “injured deer” in 1987 and  his another book  named “ silk tailed kite” completely  originated from Eyüp Kardeş  has still sold at the market
• The first kite flier who has still been in contact with abroad and  has made many detailed investigations about kite .
• In many countries there’re different organizations named in separately such as kite clubs, associations, federations, also museums and one of them known as British Columbia Kite Fliers presented  Mehmet Naci Aköz as its an honorary membership  in 1987, enrolled him their association and then broadcasted this announcement  towards another countries through a bulletin publishing his address for long time.
• In our country kite flying habits which has been liked by children but also faced to being forgotten through lack of interest has just become popular continual special interest and affection of Mehmet Naci Aköz and many activities in every year again and again.
• In Turkey kite flying activities, has had a different separate dimension by the contribution of Mehmet Naci Aköz who arranged “the first contest within Money and cup prize in Turkey” and it was opened a new road in Turkish kite flying.
• In 1983 Mehmet Naci Aköz who was the first winner in İstanbul, was withdrawn from the contests by his preference in 1996.
• In 1984 Mehmet Naci Aköz who organized first kite contest established Eyüp Kardeş Kite fliers Association in 1986 and this unity was the first kite organization of Turkey.
• "1. International İstanbul Kite Festival" which was arranged with sponsorship of İstanbul Metropolitan City Municipality and realized as the first international kite festival of Turkey in 1997 was become the host for 9 professional kite fliers and one international kite referee  from Holland, Malaysia, Denmark and Austria. Then, news about these activities had an important place at European Press; consequently Turkish kite flying was put on to the World stage firstly.
• On the other hand, first kite association of Turkey was assembled by Mehmet Naci Aköz who has still studied about kite subject continual and effectively since 1983, names as Eyüp Kardeş Kite fliers Association in 1997.
• This association changed its name and had its new name as Istanbul Kite fliers Association.

In England British Columbia kite fliers organization announced Eyüp Kardeş as a honorary member in 1987  by the bulletin to the other countries’ kite organizations.

The first  kite flier who has just prepared the first kite book named “  kite with the past and today “ including technical and encyclopedic knowledge in Turkey inside it

Some contests and festivals participated by Mehmet Naci Aköz who has won almost 50 cups, booklet and Money prizes  ,are followed as below  ;

Since these contests have been realized in different branches, sometimes it has been gained more and more cups and gifts in any contest, therefore besides different prizes, nearly winning 50 cups and booklet, he broke a difficult record.

• And Eyüp Kardeş decided not to join these kind of activities as a competitor in 1996
• In 1986 he constituted Eyüp Kardeş Kitefliers Unity with his friends
• In 1997 he realized 1. İstanbul International Kite festival in Turkey by confirming his  own Project to Istanbul Metropolitan City Municipality and he obtained our people could meet  with west style kite shows , due to inviting 9 foreign   professional kite competitors  from total 4 countries and he was responsible for whole organization of this  festival. 
• In 1998 he organized 2. Istanbul International kite festival including 10 players from 5 total countries sponsored by İGDAŞ which is a partner of Istanbul Metropolitan City Municipality.
• In  1997   he who has known as  attaching named in Eyüp Kardeş  since 1983, constituted Eyüp Kardeş Kite fliers Association 
• In 1988 at the consequent of his application into   İstanbul   Ministry of Education Directory , he obtained for  being taught of kite lesson application  in  handiworks at the primary schools between 1998 and 1999
• He has still to teach free kite applications at different primary schools by the permission of  İstanbul Ministry of Education  Directory 
•  He has an important archive about kites including different countries ‘ materials from Asia to Europe, then from America to Turkey, besides he is teaching kite making to  everybody who  wants
• He prepared his first story book named “Affection at the Clouds” in 2001

Mehmet Naci Aköz has still studying seriously as a kite lover towards having enough information and documents   and to achieve that kite flying has an institutional way, besides transferring for the future generations in Turkey.
